What Affects the Price of a Custom Pin Badge?
Five things determine what you'll pay: the size of the badge, the quantity you order, the finish (die-struck enamel, cloisonné, photo-printed or embroidered all price differently), the number of colours in your design, and the fitting you choose. Every order also includes a one-off die cost — the tool used to stamp your design — which we keep on file for reorders.

Why publish real prices? Most badge suppliers make you ask for a quote before you see a single number. We'd rather you knew roughly what to budget before you even email us.
How Do Other Finishes Compare?
Cloisonné badges use a smoother, glass-like enamel fill and sit slightly above standard die-struck enamel on price — see our cloisonné badge pricing or the full cloisonné vs enamel comparison. Photo-printed badges suit full-colour, photorealistic designs and are priced closer to standard enamel — see photo-printed pricing. Embroidered badges are quoted individually based on size and stitch count, since thread coverage varies so much by design.
Tips for Getting the Best Price
Order to the next price break. Rounding up to the next quantity tier (say, 210 badges instead of 190) often costs less overall than the smaller order.
Keep your colour count low. Designs within the standard 3-colour allowance avoid extra per-colour charges.
Reorder within 3 years. We keep your die on file, so a repeat order skips the die cost entirely as long as it's within that window.
